A long-term platform partnership for a B2B conferences operator
Seven years building and maintaining a B2B conferences platform that scaled from one event to seventy-five a year.

What started as one conference grew, over several years, into a 75-event-per-year operation across multiple global markets. The infrastructure had to scale with it — the public website, the registration and ticketing flow, the CRM, the email stack, the agenda production pipeline, and the IT footprint that supports a 70+ person team distributed across three continents. None of it was big enough to be an off-the-shelf platform purchase, but all of it needed to keep working as the business multiplied.
- 01Designed, built, and progressively rebuilt the public website over a multi-year arc — from a single-conference site to a multi-event platform now hosting 75+ events per year, each with its own registration, sponsor, and editorial section.
- 02Migrated the team onto Zoho CRM — pipeline structure, deal stages, user roles, owner assignments across a 70+ rep sales floor distributed across three continents.
- 03Stood up Microsoft 365 across the company for email, calendar, file storage, and identity. Azure AD, distribution lists, group permissions, shared drives — the office layer the rest of the work runs on top of.
- 04Built and maintained the LinkedIn outbound automation — connection flows, follow-up sequences, prospect lists keyed to event-specific ICPs, with monitoring to keep the accounts inside platform limits.
- 05Ran ongoing IT support for the 70+ team — account provisioning, hardware procurement, email security, and BEC fraud forensic documentation after one incident.
- 06Replaced the manual InDesign agenda production pipeline with a Claude-driven HTML/PDF template system — re-skinnable via four CSS variables, output direct to the event sites. Production cycle from a week down to hours.
Seven years of compounded platform work that grew alongside the business — from one conference to 75+ per year, from a single-page site to a multi-event platform, from a small team to 70+ across three continents.
The website, CRM, email, identity, and editorial pipeline now run as one coordinated system, with the team operating it day-to-day without us in the room.
